The Commercial Lending Product Manager will be accountable for executing product innovation and strategy, keeping product suite competitive to market and customer needs. The product manager works directly with customers to ensure strategic value and to identify future opportunities and ARGO strategic product direction. They directly oversee product innovation, requirements, design, usability, and documentation and quality control segments of software manufacturing process.
Product Innovation Product Manager is accountable for keeping the product suite market competitive and in regulatory compliance through delivery of solution best practices. Commercial Lending knowledge is required in each area listed:
Loan Origination and Onboarding
Life of Loan Account Management
Renewals / Modifications
Administration / Configuration Tooling
CRM / API’s
Management Insight & Reporting
Risk Management & Compliance
Responsibilities The product manager will be accountable for the overall product functional definition and strategy including but not limited to:
Own the commercial loan origination solution product vision, strategy, development, and implementation
Analyze and understand market requirements for current and future features /functionality with current knowledge base as well as by conducting market research supported by on-going conversations with customers and prospects
Drive the commercial loan origination solution product road map to ensure market alignment
Expand revenue of commercial lending product solutions
Create and maintain marketing collateral and thought leadership content for the commercial loan origination solution
Collaborate with development teams to evaluate and iterate on requirements, ideas and designs
Ongoing product testing
Provide sales support, including for RFI’s and RFP’s
Deliver product solution overviews and demonstrations, effectively telling the value story of the product and ARGO
Conduct customer process assessments and cost benefit analysis studies
Provide implementation leadership in the areas of best practice process guidance and configuration support
The key job requirements and experience required to be successful in the role of Commercial Lending Product Manager are:
Detailed knowledge and experience with commercial lending processes (workflow, documents & data) to include loan origination & onboarding as well as life of loan account management across small business, middle market and corporate lending segments
Corporate level commercial lending perspective and leadership
Drive engagement with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle to illustrate the value of the lending suite of products
Excellent customer communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present at the senior and executive level customers
Strong technology experience, preferable with experience defining software requirements and/or the software test and implementation processes
Other Requirements Position includes the following requirements:
A completed Bachelor’s degree is required.
Ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements
Formal credit underwriting training a plus.
High IT literacy is a plus
Position located in Richardson, TX. Must be able to work from the office each day.
Travel - up to 30%
