We are working with an established Middle Eastern investment firm with a global investment remit. They are looking for a fixed income portfolio manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The organisation is extremely well funded and has significant funds available to invest into fixed income fund managers and occasionally into direct positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fixed income fund manager selection, mainly in Europe, North America and Asia
  • Formulating new investment strategies
  • Leading the due diligence process when assessing new managers
  • Overseeing the building of financial models for potential new investments
  • Producing thorough investment memorandums to present to the investment committee
  • Managing and coaching junior team members
  • Monitoring the current portfolio of investments
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Significant experience of fixed income fund manager selection in developed markets
  • An excellent investment track record
  • First-class academic track record and good financial modelling skills
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Candidates must have experience of working in a buy-side role
  • Willingness to be based in the Middle East full time
  • A team player, and low-ego
