What we do: Asset Servicing powers the investment process for clients. We turn data into insights to help clients make more informed decisions; and enable access to capital markets and liquidity solutions, driving investment outcomes. We run their operations, delivering efficiency and scale on a resilient platform; core capabilities include global custody, fund accounting, integrated middle-office solutions, and transfer agency services. Through an open, modular network, we collaborate with leading providers to integrate best-in-class solutions, offering clients choice and flexibility. Asset Servicing clients are some of the world's largest and most sophisticated asset managers and asset owners, including banks, corporations, mutual funds, sovereign wealth funds and pensions. The Digital organization sets the direction for BNY Mellon's digital future and drives investments in our digital capabilities, including data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics. In 2020, Digital was combined with Asset Servicing to accelerate the business' digital and data transformation, and to ensure it is future ready and positioned to support clients' changing priorities and needs. The successful candidate will: Relationship Manager (RM) will independently develop the strategic plan for managing and growing existing client relationships. They will identify opportunities to evolve client business for incremental account growth while serving in a consultative role to the client, advising client executives on the best way to achieve short- and long- term strategic objectives. The RM is the primary BNYM contact and escalation point for clients. Internally, the RM is the primary client advocate, collaborating within Asset Servicing functions as well as across broader BNYM to foster more coordinated service offerings. The RM will proactively monitor relationships and assist with the remediation of escalated service issues directing such issues to the appropriate parties in our global operations. The RM will have developed significant expertise on industry trends, competitor services/offerings and client's business environment. As the client advocate, RMs often serve as the ultimate escalation point for client satisfaction. Consulting with clients on their strategic vision, RM will showcase how the firm can help them achieve that vision while promoting firm services/product offerings that solve client challenges and achieve account growth. RM will remain current on industry trends and competitor services/offerings in addition to sharing market information, experience and BNYM thought leadership with their clients. RM will contribute to the development and strategy of the segment as well as the global client coverage team. RM ensures client on boarding and/or risk management activities are conducted and captured (KYC, BAC, etc.) Qualifications Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5-8 years of total work experience preferred. Financial Services experience preferred in Relationship Management, Client Services or Account Management.
