The Relationship Manager is responsible for sales activities from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. They will implement an agreed upon marketing plan which will meet business goals of expanding the customer base in a specified area. Working with the sales and support team they will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with the company vision and values.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes regular communications with agents, maintaining solid industry knowledge, and providing all aspects of customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned territory.
• Reach the target sales created by management.
• Participate in sales meetings and assist in setting up sales goals and budgets.
• Participate and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to agents and their clients.
• Maintain an awareness of all company promotions and coordinate promotional and marketing activities.
• Assist in processing and replenishing marketing merchandise and distributing items to agents.
• Handle customer problems and requests or communicate these to management if needed.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Join state associations and organizations and participate on committees and industry-related functions.
