Your new role
In this role you will working closely with the senior management team and responsible to covering corporate and commercial credit risk management policies and processes. You will leading a small team to assessing commercial and corporate loans from 30m to 200m. You will also be responsible for the asset quality of the firm, provide proactive coaching and training to sales staff relative to credit and risk issues. You will also responsible to provide the guidance and assistance to the Operational Risk Analyst to conduct due diligence report and credit report to internal and external stakeholders. You will monitor the remediation of identified weaknesses in management practices and provide support and counsel where appropriate to facilitate resolution.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in obtaining this position, it is necessary that you have a minimum of 10 years experience in corporate lending and credit risk. Ideally, you will have management experience within a large corporate bank or financial service environment. Your in depth knowledge in capital management practices and drivers, as well as operational risk/compliance issues will be key to your success. Furthermore, your managerial and leadership skills, and interpersonal abilities will see you excel in your role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required.
