The WPFH Business Management team currently provide central support for the UK Financial Services, WPFH and Investment Services and Solutions (ISS) business areas, working closely with the Legal Entity CEO's, Senior Leadership Team and the respective channel business managers. Responsibilities include data analysis, production of Quarterly Business Reviews, facilitating business governance meetings, preparation of board reports and senior leadership team support. In addition, the team provides both portfolio PMO support for the WPFH Business Change Teams as well as direct PMO support for critical initiatives and Vendor Management Governance Activities.
Purpose of your role
The purpose of this role is to support the GDO Senior Vendor Manager - Vendor Management with the effective application of the Supplier Management Policy and Framework across the WPFH external supplier portfolio as well as direct Management of some of the 3rd party Suppliers. Specifically supporting key initiatives focusing on Cost Reduction, Governance Activities and Supplier Risk Management. The role will work closely with all levels of the WPFH structure and span all client segments and shared functions within the UK business.
Provide support to the GDO Senior Vendor Manager - Vendor Management and coordinate the execution of day to day Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) responsibilities
Planning and prioritisation of Supplier Service Reviews and Contract and Governance Diary via Aravo, liaising with Business Owners or Accountable Execs as appropriate
Ensuring accurate and up to date of contracts and supplier records are maintained, and commercially sensitive information managed in line with Fidelity's information security standards;
Managing contractual processes and formal contract changes/renewals alongside Procurement and Legal;
Facilitating Compliance Processes with appropriate SMEs and Business Owners e.g. External Security Reviews, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Business Continuity Management, Supplier Code of Conduct etc
Ongoing supplier benchmarking and financial/risk assessment reviews;
Timely input into relevant management reporting and supplier matrices - Aravo.
Experience and Qualifications Required
Understanding of the Supplier Management Life Cycle with some experience in a Vendor/Supplier Management environment within the Financial Services industry.
Experience of supplier selection via ITT/RFP/RFI and creation of Business Cases or Return on Investment models
Some understanding of Supplier Contracts and their construction
Hands-on mentality and ability to work under pressure
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Good stakeholder management and influencing skills
Technical proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint etc.
Ability to manage priorities and adapt to meet requirements of the team and business stakeholders
Experience of implementing processes and controls that support adherence to governance policy & regulations
