PIMCO's Global Equity Desk is seeking a Passive Equity PM to work under the direction of Head of Equity Trading to implement and monitor passive equity portfolios US and International markets. This individual will also support equity implementation for broader PIMCO portfolios across the firm.
Work closely with Head of Equity Trading to monitor and implement passive equity portfolios in developed and emerging market regions.
Assist in investing cash flows, rebalancing, managing corporate actions and proxy voting processes, and creating and building equity maintenance and monitoring processes and reports for relevant portfolios.
Liaise with Equity Trading Desk to implement trading of global portfolios with intent to minimize transaction and trading costs
Implement tax optimization procedures in relevant portfolios
Work with internal support teams to automate current processes and procedures
Work with product strategy group to provide relevant market updates and data to PIMCO clients
Minimum 5 years' experience
Experience in passive portfolio construction processes, rebalancing, monitoring cash and holdings, and reconciling portfolio activity
Strong experience in proxy voting and corporate actions
Experience in global equity markets (developed and emerging)
Strong analytical background with data science and programming experience encouraged but not required
Experience with Axioma and Barra encouraged but not required
Experience with ETFs a plus but not required
Excellent communicator; strong written and oral presentation abilities
