Center Creek Capital Group, a dynamic, young real estate private equity firm, is offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This is a growth-oriented opportunity to participate in the full spectrum of financial analysis and investment management, working in a highly professional environment and reporting directly to the senior investment team.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be involved in all stages of the investment process, from sourcing and underwriting through asset management and disposition. The selected candidate will be immersed in the local markets in which Center Creek Capital Group invests and will gain a deep understanding of all aspects of Single-Family Rental (SFR) life cycle.
The ideal candidate will have completed 2 years of a real estate investment banking analyst program with a Wall St firm and is looking to make a move to principal investing.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Deploying capital via acquisition of SFR assets identified and adhering to investment guidelines and underwriting
Sourcing and underwriting individual single-family rental homes and assisting in acquiring portfolios
Developing and updating financial models for the overall fund to estimate investor returns and conduct scenario analysis
Assisting with capital markets functions including supporting financial analysis for debt facilities and equity partners
Working with Portfolio Management to review reporting and evaluate asset performance
Performing in-depth industry and market research
Assisting in preparation of materials and presentations to the investment committee, current and/or potential investors
Assisting senior investment team with time-sensitive, ad-hoc projects and other duties
Ability to manage projects, create presentations and reports, and work independently is critical. Additional strengths include experience underwriting individual properties, conducting market intelligence, and analysis and transaction execution.
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
1-4 years’ experience in investment banking, finance, or investment management
Passion for quality work with strong attention to detail and initiative
Strong oral and written communication skills to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports and other deliverables
Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills, especially working with Excel spreadsheets
Highly skilled in PowerPoint, Word, etc.
