JOB SUMMARYThe Underwriter performs financial analyses and reporting, including compiling, reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and customizing financial data for dissemination to management, financial organizations, governmental entities, and others requiring financial information.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEProduces and recommends adequate rates for groups of all sizes to ensure that appropriate premium levels are obtained, based on the review of individual medical information.
