The New Business Underwriter/Coordinator will underwrite commercial lines business accounts for member agencies. 

• Underwrite, quote, and issue new business with multiple carriers.
• Assist agents with Commercial and Farm insurance applications.
• Interprets and explains coverage differences between Lines of Business and carriers.
• Works with various company field representatives as needed to keep up-to-date on carriers products and underwriting concerns.
• Cross-sells departmental products and services, refers inquiries and leads to appropriate contact person.

Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Required Work Experience: Commercial Licensed agent for a minimum of 5 years, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technology Skills: EPIC Agency Management system, Mircosoft Office including Excel, Word, email and calendar

Required Skills or Traits for the Position: Self Motivated , Trustworthy, high ethical standards

Specialized Training/Certifications: Commercial Lines insurance agent license is required
