On behalf of a global financial services organization, analyze and measure exposure to credit risk and perform end-to-end credit strategy and data analytics evaluations of Existing Customer Management (ECM) programs. ??? Mitigate portfolio risk through conducting management techniques and determine account level parameters for considering growth initiatives. ??? Carry out second line oversight role for driving continuous improvement evaluating and mitigating risk. ??? Formulate and conduct analytical exercises to improve business strategies and policies and mitigate transaction and account level portfolio risk. ??? Analyze and optimize credit line strategies, launch and read tests to assess customer spend and revolving behavior, generate long-term yields, and balance customer experience with risk mitigation. ??? Provide oversight with respect to ECM exposure management strategies for U.S. cards, support First Line of Defense, and recommend changes to optimize program, including line increases, line decreases, closures, high-risk, and judgmental reviews. ??? Maintain program valuation models to assess expansion and tightening and propose model enhancements reflecting historical data. ??? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor portfolio trends and verify, check, and challenge assumptions during strategic launch.
What we're looking for:
Must have a minimum of a Master's degree or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related mathematically focused field of study and at least three (3) years of experience as a Risk Analyst, Credit Analyst, or related occupation within the financial services industry. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in above referenced fields of study and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in above related occupations within the financial services industry.
Must have at least three (3) years of employment experience with each of the following required skills:
??? Writing SAS/SQL scripts to navigate databases; ??? Performing model valuations; ??? Angoss Knowledge SEEKER to develop models and analyze customer behavior and risk strategy; ??? Credit cards PNL drivers; ??? Risk dynamics of credit card industry; ??? Customer payment behavior and credit abuse characteristics; ??? Limit increase program dynamics and profitability; ??? Cards spend and spend authorization strategies including over limit and delinquent authorization.
