This position is in the Kannampallil Lab in the Institute for Informatics. The Institute for Informatics is part of the Office of Health Information and Data Science (OHIDS). OHIDS includes the Institute for Informatics, the Division of Biostatistics, and Becker Medical Library. This represents an alignment of critical units across the School of Medicine

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the research group.
Manages the research portfolio including management of regulatory documents, development of research materials, coordination of patient recruitment and management, and other research-related tasks. Additional tasks may include data management and organization related to various research projects.
Collaborates with other researchers in the group and across study sites to manage research projects.
Drives and develops long strategy in terms of the impact on the research portfolio and options for various solutions for the needs throughout the entire research portfolio lifecycle.
Assists with complex high-level scoping efforts, engages necessary and appropriate resources during the planning phase, and partners with stakeholders to provide insight, guidance, prioritization, and sequencing assistance when planning implementation efforts or changes to research efforts.Â Â Â
Coordinates with leadership in defining the long-term roadmap for the research represented within the portfolio, and other researchers in defining the strategy with respect to the research portfolio.Â
Performs other duties as assigned.
Healthcare and research experience.
Experience with clinical trials and their management processes.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Bachelorâ™s degree and five to seven years demonstrated experience in healthcare, university, industry, and/or academic medical centers.Â
$63,900.00 - $109,100.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
