The University of Southern Californiaâs University Advancement division is seeking a Senior Relationship Management Analyst to join its team. The position reports to the Associate Director of Relationship Management and Tracking, and resides in the office of Relationship Management and Tracking (RMATs). The position will be primarily responsible for turning relationship management data into actionable steps.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who:
Is customer-focused and can establish and maintain strong working relationships with all members of University Advancement, and the University community at large;
Exhibits a curiosity and creativity to problem-solving;
Can prioritize and manage several projects at once;
Can clearly communicate and contextualize data for end-users;
Can demonstrate knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available.
Conduct portfolio reviews, and working with management, develop actionable steps for the successful qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of donors;
Conduct CRM trainings for University Advancement staff that supports effective use and meets university standards;
Provide on-call support to central and unit-based advancement staff on issues of policy, procedures, and data integrity in the context of relationship management;
Produce standardized reports as needed and assist others in selecting standard report formats;
Serve as liaison to members of University Advancement and develop working knowledge of their needs and systems;
Assist in designing and facilitating the programming of reports;
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.Â The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Bachelorâs degree preferred; Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education;
Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce), database (Access, SQL), spreadsheet (Excel), visualization (Tableau), and reporting (Cognos) programs preferred;
Demonstrated ability in tailoring interpersonal and technical skills to end-user needs;
Demonstrated ability to comfortably manage multiple routine tasks, shifting priorities, and special projects in a timely and organized fashion preferred;
Knowledge of complex fundraising and development operations and an understanding of how relationship management system enterprises are integrated into those operations preferred;
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy along with strong written and verbal communication skills required;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint required;
Ability to travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business required;
