Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Portfolio Consultant to support Surveillance and Forecasting across Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Portfolio Management. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
Lead the Enterprise Risk Identification and Assessment (ERIA) program for CRE by collaborating with the various lines of business to identify and assess ongoing and emerging risks to the business
Manage the Risk Measurement Program for CRE including monitoring and forecasting Risk Appetite Metrics, Key Risk Indicators, and Concentrations.
Coordinate the Business Loss Forecasting (BLF) efforts for CRE
Oversee the semi-annual stress-testing for CRE, including Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Mid-Year Financial Assessment (MYFA)
Manage the implementation of Climate Risk assessments and metrics into the CRE portfolio and strategy
Coordinate and collaborate with business leads to communicate results and help develop strategy and related programs to manage the portfolio

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation, and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
5+ years of Credit Consulting Portfolio experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of commercial real estate experience
Commercial loan closing or loan administration experience
Proficient in both corporate and related industry regulations, with subject matter expertise in Regulation B/Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Regulation H/Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money & Laundering (AML) regulations
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
Experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
Ability to thoroughly analyze credit policy and process on an independent basis and communicate findings in a concise manner
Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives and senior leadership
Knowledge and understanding of portfolio management and international credit products
