We are looking for an experienced Private Banking Relationship Manager to join Amegy's Private Banking team in Houston, TX. This role focuses on identifying appropriate lending opportunities, soliciting and developing all types of business activity, specializing in wealth management. Our lenders act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients in the private banking space.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for developing strong, low risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service.
Develops, generates and follows-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.
Calls on existing relationships to review portfolios and makes recommendations as needed.
Maintains a high level of client satisfaction by generating, managing and servicing a portfolio of clients.
Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing and perceptive character judgment.
Cross sell other bank products.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
A four-year college degree in business, accounting, or finance is strongly preferred with direct wealth management experience preferred. A concentration in C&I or other complex commercial lending is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Knowledge of banking, commercial lending, mortgages, investments, trusts, affinity and insurance products and services is required
Knowledge in financial planning enabling recognition of investments, brokerage sales and referral possibilities preferred
Solid sales, self-management, credit analysis, loan structuring, applicant interviewing, and perceptive character judgment skills preferred
A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain major banking relationships is strongly preferred.
