What We're Looking For

Baylor University's Office of Internal Audit & Management Analysis is seeking an Assistant Audit Director and Conflict of Interest Administrator to join our team in the support of the University.

A Bachelor's degree, 6 years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master's degree and 8 years of relevant work experience are preferred.

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and adherence to the University's conflict of interest management program
• Reviews disclosures, analyzes situations, and makes determinations as to whether conflicts exist and whether further review by the review committee is necessary
• Collaborates with various University offices as necessary in reviewing disclosures
• Drafts and reviews appropriate management plans for conflict situations and ensures plans remain current and adequately manage conflicts
• Manages the University's disclosure policies and procedures
• Coordinates with system administrator to ensure proper functioning of the conflict of interest disclosure system
• Develops and delivers conflict of interest specific training to the campus community
• Assists in developing and delivering other internal audit trainings to the campus community
• Represents Internal Audit at campus meetings as assigned
• Works independently and requires limited supervision
• Provides input in the development of the annual internal audit plan
• Communicates in a professional manner
• Assists in conducting or conducts audits, consulting engagements, investigations, and other projects
• Conducts engagement level risk analyses to define a project's objectives, scopes, and methodologies
• Collects and analyzes information, data, and evidence
• Prepares, thorough, well-organized documentation and workpapers
• Performs and assists with management advisory services when requested
• Requires 6+ years of experience
