Baylor University's Office of Internal Audit & Management Analysis is seeking an Assistant Audit Director and Conflict of Interest Administrator to join our team in the support of the University.
A Bachelor's degree, 6 years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master's degree and 8 years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A hybrid work arrangement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and adherence to the University's conflict of interest management program
Reviews disclosures, analyzes situations, and makes determinations as to whether conflicts exist and whether further review by the review committee is necessary
Collaborates with various University offices as necessary in reviewing disclosures
Drafts and reviews appropriate management plans for conflict situations and ensures plans remain current and adequately manage conflicts
Manages the University's disclosure policies and procedures
Coordinates with system administrator to ensure proper functioning of the conflict of interest disclosure system
Develops and delivers conflict of interest specific training to the campus community
Assists in developing and delivering other internal audit trainings to the campus community
Represents Internal Audit at campus meetings as assigned
Works independently and requires limited supervision
Provides input in the development of the annual internal audit plan
Communicates in a professional manner
Assists in conducting or conducts audits, consulting engagements, investigations, and other projects
Conducts engagement level risk analyses to define a project's objectives, scopes, and methodologies
Collects and analyzes information, data, and evidence
Prepares, thorough, well-organized documentation and workpapers
Performs and assists with management advisory services when requested
Requires 6+ years of experience
