Portfolio Manager â“ Transaction Management Lead
Grade - Associate
Department - Occupier Management, GOS
Reports To - Â Regional Account Manager
Location: United Kingdom (London preferred)
We are recruiting for a Portfolio Manager to join one of key clients within the Global Occupier team you will be responsible for delivery of portfolio management services as described in statement of work summary for the specific account within the assigned geography.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring transactions are managed at the highest standard and portfolio management team is effectively managing the day-to-day transaction requirements of a portfolio of properties on behalf client within assigned geography.Â
Responsibilities will include people management, client relationship management and working closely with portfolio strategy team to develop and implement transaction strategy for all asset types within portfolio. Â In addition, person will work closely with account leadership to ensure TM best practices are rolled out on account and support the necessary training of a multi- regional team.
Within day-today responsibilities will also include managing transactions (broker selection, transaction oversight and reporting, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, development and presentation of business case and closeout.
Key Responsibilities â“ Transaction Management:
⢠Assist with the implementation of portfolio plans that align with clientâ™s real estate goals and objectivesÂ
⢠Collaborate with C&W and non C&W brokerage professionals to ensure effective negotiations of business terms for a wide variety of transactions including lease, sale, sublease and purchaseÂ
⢠Manage the flow of key documentation and client communicationsÂ
⢠Review, and interpret financial analysisÂ
⢠Oversee revenue tracking of all transactionsÂ
⢠Maintain database of transaction activityÂ
⢠Ensure accuracy of all transaction reportsÂ
⢠Present transaction activity to clientÂ
⢠Lead and/or facilitate client meetingsÂ
⢠Provide suggestions for process and technical improvements relating to the transaction processÂ
⢠Assist with the on-boarding of new team members
Process Management:
⢠Assist with the development of standard forms and proceduresÂ
⢠Implement standardized processes/playbooks that create maximum efficiencies and add valueÂ
⢠Assist in measuring transactional performanceÂ
⢠Ensure that all client and broker engagement documentation is executedÂ
Transaction Management:
⢠Coordinate field broker selection processÂ
⢠Assist with determining client needs and communicate project parametersÂ
⢠Coordinate negotiations and management of transactionsÂ
⢠Coordinate legal review of all client leased/owned documentsÂ
⢠Ensure accuracy of financial data and reportingÂ
⢠Coordinate client site visits/market toursÂ
⢠Ensure all State real estate standards are metÂ
Strategic Planning:
⢠Assist in the development of strategic real estate plansÂ
⢠Work with portfolio strategy team to identify occupancy cost opportunitiesÂ
⢠Ensure implementation of agreed upon strategyÂ
⢠Produce and/or support business case developmentÂ
⢠Execute strategies by developing action plansÂ
Knowledge & Experience:
â¢Â   5+ years of transaction management experience, preferably with finance sector experience
â¢Â   People management experience
â¢Â   Global TM experience
â¢Â   Demonstrable technical competence in property management
â¢Â   Basic IT skills (word-processing and spreadsheets)
â¢Â   General practice background for or within either a corporate, public sector or private practice
â¢Â   Degree level estate management qualification or equivalent desired
â¢Â   Membership of RICS
